As senior students throughout Victoria celebrate the end of their schooling and approach their final exams, Copperfield College is encouraging students to look back on all they have achieved over the past two particularly tumultuous years.
“This time last year, we all thought we were through the worst of the pandemic, but 2021 has taught us that nothing is ever certain,” says Copperfield College principal Phillipa Griffiths.
“The Copperfield family would like to congratulate our senior students for the way they have conducted themselves – as often happens, the students we have tried to inspire have ended up inspiring us.”
With lockdowns and remote learning, and missing out on school events and celebrations, students could be forgiven for losing much of their enthusiasm and motivation.
“The way our students have adapted to the ever changing landscape and online learning, managed themselves and supported each other through this difficult time is an inspiration,” says Principal Griffiths.
“They have demonstrated courage, resilience and maturity beyond their years, and so are very well placed to face the challenges and excitement of post school life.”
Copperfield College has a strong commitment to empowering each and every student to aspire and achieve their goals and full potential, with parents, students and staff at the college working collaboratively to motivate, challenge and set high expectations for each other.
With three locations in Victoria, Copperfield College has Years 7 to 10 campuses in Sydenham and Kings Park, and senior students have the choice of completing VCE, VET or VCAL at the Copperfield College Year 11 to 12 campus in Delahey.
