Melbourne City is through to the FFV men’s state league 4 final. City beat north group representative Fawkner 2-1 in a hard-fought contest at CB Smith Reserve and will now meet south group’s Brighton in the final at Jubilee Park in Ringwood at 2pm on Saturday.

Spotswood, a WRFL under-18 powerhouse for years, claimed another premiership in a 119-point win over Deer Park at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday. Charles Bettiol booted seven for the Woodsmen.
