TWO men have been arrested over the near-fatal shooting of a man dumped at Sunshine Hospital last Tuesday night.
Police have charged a Preston man, 27, with intentionally causing serious injury over the shooting of Brunswick man Sean Walker.
A South Melbourne man, 25, was also assisting police with their inquiries.
Mr Walker, 27, was fighting for his life at Sunshine Hospital after being shot in the groin.
He was dropped off at the hospital by two unknown people at 10.48pm and was then transferred to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
He underwent surgery early Wednesday and was placed under police guard.
Mr Walker is believed to have been shot in Tullamarine.
On Thursday afternoon, a passing police patrol found the vehicle allegedly used to drop the man at the hospital.
The Preston man has been remanded to appear in court on July 30.
