Trivia night for SES

Brimbank State Emergency Service is hosting a trivia night from 7.30 on Friday, November 28, at Westend Market Hotel, 47 McIntyre Road, Sunshine. The session will include raffles, silent and live auctions, and games. Tickets are $16 or $100 for a table of 10. Bring your own food and snacks; drinks at bar prices.

Are you a parent aged 16-25 wanting to meet other young parents in your area, take your children on outings and share children’s activities? Free meet-ups are in Laverton on Mondays, 10-11.30am; in Altona Meadows also Mondays,1-2.30pm; and Sunshine, Fridays, 12.30-2.30pm.

Volunteers needed

The multiple sclerosis community visitors scheme needs volunteers to join its western metro area program. Volunteers visit elderly residents in aged-care centres to offer companionship once a fortnight. Volunteers who can speak other languages, especially Spanish, are also needed.
