Deer Park has added to its already impressive list of recruits for its Western Region Football League division 1 premiership defence.
The Lions have brought in 200-game Carlton player Ryan Houlihan, to join fellow league recruits Bret Thornton (Carlton/GWS), Brent Guerra (Port Adelaide/St Kilda/Hawthorn) and Ryan Hargrave (Western Bulldogs).
Houlihan, who opened a restaurant in the area, approached the club to talk about a sponsorship. He got the football bug again and signed on as a player last week.
The WRFL season begins on April 4 when Deer Park takes on St Albans.
