Sunshine Eagles made it two from two in the Baseball Victoria women’s division 3 west competition on Saturday.
The Eagles, who have reformed this season, easily accounted for Fitzroy Doncaster, winning 21-10.
The Eagles are one of three undefeated teams after three rounds, with the first round having been washed out.
The men’s division 1 side had to come from behind for a second straight week.
Facing Melbourne, the Eagles trailed 3-0 early on.
The Eagles would hit the next four runs to take the lead. It would be enough, with the Eagles winning 4-3.
Clayton Campbell was named the side’s best, in a strong team effort.
The Eagles sit fourth on the ladder after three rounds.
