Back-to-back wins have kicked Melbourne Knights up to eighth and within a point of the National Premier League soccer top six.

The Knights scored an entertaining 3-2 victory over FC Bulleen Lions at Knights Stadium on Sunday.

The Knights hit the lead through Tomislav Uskok after just three minutes, but the Lions cancelled that out four minutes later through Xavier Nardone.

Goals to Aj Inia and Brody Taylor gave the Knights significant enough insurance to ward off a second Lions’ fightback.

Josh Barresi scored for the Cavaliers, but it wasn’t enough as the visitors secured a famous victory.
