Green Gully will open its National Premier League season against the reigning champions, the Oakleigh Cannons.
Football Victoria released the fixtures for both the NPL men’s and women’s seasons last week with the men’s season to get underway on February 16 and the women’s season on March 17.
Last year’s runners-up South Melbourne and newly promoted Moreland City will open the NPL1 men’s season in a standalone match February 16 at Lakeside Stadium.
Key round one matchups include the Cavaliers against the Cannons on the Friday night, while Altona Magic hosts Hume City on the Saturday night.
St Albans and the Melbourne Knights end the opening round with a Sunday twilight clash.

In the NPL2 competition, the newly promoted Western United will face the Eastern Lions in the final match of round one on February 19.
Werribee City starts its season on the road, facing Brunswick Juventus on February 17 under lights.
The teams in the NPL3 competition will have to wait another wait to get things underway with the season kicking off on March 18.
The North Sunshine Eagles host the Essendon Royals on March 18 at Moore Park.
Caroline Spring George Cross’s return to the NPL competition is scheduled for March 18 against Box Hill United.
The Georgies won the state league 1 north-west competition this season.
The NPL women’s competition starts the same weekend as the NPL3 men’s competition starts.
Defending champions Calder United will help launch the season, facing Box Hill United in the opening match of the season on March 17.
The women’s competition next year will go from eight to 11 teams with the Preston Lions, Boroondara Eagles and Southern United all gaining promotion from the Victorian Premier League Women’s.
There will be a bye each week with having an odd number of teams.
