Police are investigating an armed robbery at Brimbank Shopping Centre, Deer Park, on Thursday, December 1.

It is understood three men entered a shopping centre on Neale Road, armed with weapons, and damaged a store about 10.45am.

Investigators were told they stole an unknown amount of jewellery and smashed multiple cabinets before fleeing the scene in a vehicle which is described as a white Volkswagen Golf sedan, travelling south on Neale Road. There were no injuries.

Centre Court and Station Road Mall closed following the incident at Brimbank Shopping Centre but have since reopened. Police are currently investigating.

A spokesperson for the shopping centre said, “Our centre management team is assisting with their inquiries. The health and safety of our customers, tenants, and staff is our priority.”
