Brimbank’s youth have given a snapshot into their daily lives with a series of videos showcasing community support, self care and their vision for the future.

The #BrimbankYouth campaign is a three-part series of short video clips submitted by young people aged between 10 and 25 who live, work, study or hvae strong connections to Brimbank.

Each segment goes for about two seconds and focuses on a different issue experienced by youth.

Brimbank mayor Ranka Rasic said the videos showed youth of Brimbank were able to support each other and their communities.

“The #BrimbankYouth initiative is an excellent opportunity to empower our young people as active citizens,” she said.

“These brave hearts have created strong connections and channels of support for their community, when it was needed most.

“Our Brimbank youth inspire positive change in our council and are a beacon of hope for our future.”
