Sunshine Heights pupils perform in Harmony

More than 400 staff and pupils of Sunshine Heights Primary School took part in a “whole school flash mob” last Monday as they sang and danced outside Victorian Parliament for Harmony Day.

It’s the third big Harmony Day performance for the school after they put on similar shows outside Sunshine Plaza and Federation Square to help celebrate cultural diversity.

This time the 394 students and 50 staff members put on two dances and sang three songs, including Lean On Me.

“With 45 different cultures, we thought it was a great way to show how well all our students get along,” principal Alex Artavilla said.
