Update
Marlene Kairouz will hold on to the seat of Kororoit, with a strong swing towards Labor delivering the incumbent back into Parliament.
Ms Kairouz received a 6.4 per cent increase, maintaining Labor’s stronghold in the western suburbs.

Incumbent Labor MP Marlene Kairouz has an early lead in the seat of Kororoit.
While polls closed just an hour ago, Ms Kairouz currently has 73.89 per cent of the first preference votes after 742 votes have been counted.
While it is very early in the night, it gives the gambling minister a comfortable lead over Liberal candidate Golam Haque, who has 14.39 per cent of the vote.
