Big fridges and sharp minds are needed for a massive fundraiser at Caroline Springs next month.

Hosted by Ian Rawlings of Neighbours and Sons and Daughters fame, a Rotary Caroline Springs trivia night for the Western Emergency Relief Network will be held on July 8.

Rotarian Ross Butterworth says the network has 35 agencies as partners and 148 case workers providing help to people affected by fire, flood, domestic violence, refugee needs, homelessness and mental health.

While plenty of white goods, bedding and furniture have been arriving at the network since its fomation last year, more is needed.

“We need whitegoods, particularly fridges, at the moment,” Mr Butterworth said.

The trivia night will be at The Club, 1312 Western Highway, Caroline Springs; $20 a head.
