A Sunshine woman aged in her 20s didn’t know whether to laugh or cry after she discovered she’d won $100,000 in Monday’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
Officials called the young woman on Tuesday to confirm the win.
“I think I started screaming ‘oh my god’. There was a lot of laughing and crying,” she said.
“I called my mum straight away to tell her. She was really happy for me too.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her winnings, the woman said she wanted to “enjoy it for a long time to come”.
“I will definitely have to do some celebrating once the money is in my account. I will probably have a nice dinner and get a fancy bottle of champagne.
“Most of it I want to save for the future.
“I would love to go on a big overseas holiday when we finally can again, but the rest I want to save and invest.”
