Sunshine Rocks the Rail returns

Sunshine Rocks the Rail festival is on again this year, timed to coincide perfectly with Cultural Diversity Week celebrations. On March 24, the forecourt of the Sunshine bus and train interchange will be transformed into an amphitheatre to host a most multicultural musical talent quest. Event organiser Steve Pereria said the competing musicians would all be locals on the cusp of breaking into the professional music scene. Their acts will range from rap, to spoken word, to hip hop. Next up will be Sunshine jazz outfit The Legless Lizards, followed by reggae band Rasa Unity. Sunshine Rocks the Rail Too, Friday, March 24, 4-8pm.
