Firefighters were called to a house fire in St Albans on Monday night.
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews were called to the Walmer Avenue property following a call to triple-0 about smoke and embers emitting from a house.
FRV arrived on scene within five minutes to find a two storey house involved with fire and escalated the response
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews worked to extinguish the fire by conducting an internal attack, containing the fire to the rear of the house and bringing the incident under control by 6.47pm
