Taylors Lakes man arrested after crashing into police cars

A Taylors Lakes man has been charged after crashing into two Australian Federal Police (AFP) cars in Melbourne’s CBD on Sunday, July 3.

Police said the 28-year-old was arrested after losing control of his vehicle and hitting two AFP cars on La Trobe Street about 10pm.

A subsequent search of the crashed car uncovered weapons and a quantity of cash, police allege

The man is facing 13 charges including possessing a drug of dependence without a prescription, dealing with suspected proceeds of crime, driving while disqualified and drug driving.
