Six arrested over shooting

Six people have been arrested as part of an investigation into an alleged shooting in Caroline Springs earlier this year.

Police executed search warrants at residences in Caroline Springs, Truganina, Dandenong and Fawkner on Friday morning in relation to the alleged shooting on February 3.

The incident occured on Caroline Springs Boulevard about 12.15am when an 18-year-old male was shot.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body and was taken to hospital.

A 21-year-old Caroline Springs man, a 17-year-old Caroline Springs boy, a 26-year-old and a 24-year-old from Truganina, a man from Fawkner and man from Dandenong are all helping police with their inquiries into the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
