Shopping local in Sunshine could pay off with a car up for grabs in the Sunshine Business Association’s (SBA) shop and win competition.
The competition is part of the association’s shop local campaign, which began in July due to COVID-19 hitting businesses hard.
“The competition is to bring more customers to Sunshine, to experience our multicultural shopping precinct and enjoy the uniqueness of our fabulous shops and restaurants,” SBA’s Tracey Cammock said.
“It gives people an extra reason to shop here…..everyone loves a competition and to win a car is huge for our area.
“It includes and supports all our businesses and they all love this campaign.”
The main prize is a 2020 MG3 – Auto Core, while there is $3000 worth of gift vouchers for Sunshine restaurants also to be won.
To enter, customers will need to spend $25 or more in participating businesses, fill in an entry form at the counter and give it to the shop manager,
The competition starts on February 1 and will run until february 25.
The winner will be drawn at the Sunshine Twilight Festival on February 26, with the SBA encouraging shops to stay open late and people to come out and enjoy the night in Sunshine.
