Seven people, including six children, evacuated a house fire on Levenia Street in St Albans on Monday just before 5pm.
Fire Rescue Victoria received multiple calls about the single-storey brick veneer home being on fire.
Firefighters arrived at the scene with the fire well in advance in the middle and rear living areas of the home.
The fire was prevented from spreading to adjacent homes as FRV responded with additional resources to stop the fire.
Ambulance Victoria have treated three of the occupants and transported them to
hospital for further treatment after being safely evacuated from the home.
