Police hunt for murder suspect in Keilor

Homicide Squad detectives, Fugitive Taskforce and the Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit are currently in Keilor as part of an ongoing search for Jonathan Dick.

Police will be speaking to people in the Green Gully Road area in an effort to identify potential witnesses and canvas assistance from the public following a serious assault involving Dick last week.

Dick is also wanted in connection to the murder of his brother David at a Doncaster shopping centre on February 3, 2017.

Police had no confirmed sightings of Dick until last Thursday,  August 23 when he resurfaced in Keilor.

He was involved in a serious assault with a known acquaintance about 6.50am outside a property on Church Street.

He was last seen running south on Green Gully Road, Keilor, near the intersection with Meehan Court.

At the time he was wearing a red-hooded jumper and blue jeans.

Detectives have appealed for Dick to hand himself in. Anyone who sees him is urged not to approach him, but to call triple-0 immediately.

Anyone with any other information is urged to contact police via Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
