St Albans woman $2 million richer

By Tate Papworth

A  St Albans woman says she’s looking forward to ticking a few things off her bucket list after winning more than $2 million in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The woman held one of the nine division one-winning entries across Australia, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $2,222,222.23.

The woman was about to start work for the day when officials called to deliver the news  this morning.

“You’re kidding me aren’t you?” she said.

“We all dream of receiving this phone call …

“I was just about to start work for the day. Well, I could seriously consider not going to work next Monday!”

The woman said she’d use the money to make some dreams a reality.

“We’ve been planning to rebuild our house and I’ve been putting away money as it has always been a long-term plan,” she said.

“Now that long-term plan has become very short.

“I’ve always had a bucket list dream of going on a trip on The Ghan so I can tick that off the list too!”

The woman purchased her winning ticket from St Albans Lotto & Newsagency.
