A man is in hospital under police guard following a fire at a Albanvale property on Monday, March 14.
Emergency Services were called to the Sutherland Street property at 5.20pm.
It is believed a man ignited a flammable liquid and other people at the address tried to extinguish the flames.
A 36-year-old woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition while a 17-year-old girl is being treated for minor injuries.
The man, 38, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said all parties are known to each other and the incident is being investigated by the Arson and Explosive Squad.
