Man robbed at knifepoint in Burnside

A 20-year-old Deer Park man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery in Burnside on Sunday, February 7.

It’s alleged he robbed 22-year-old man at knife-point at the intersection of Westwood Drive and Ballarat Road about 6.30pm.

Investigators charged Joshua Grixti the same evening with one count of armed robbery.

He will face court on May 6 for a committal mention.
