Children across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs made the most of the hot conditions last week, flocking to local pools.

After a summer without many hot days so far, families made the most of the mercury soaring past 30 degrees last week.

Many pools – both indoor and outdoor – reported lockouts and waiting times on multiple days because of COVID-19-related patron limits.

With more warm days forecasted for this week, pools will again likely be full as families make the most of their free time before school returns.
