Celebrating Australia Day

About 180 residents of Brimbank will take the pledge and become our newest citizens this Australia Day.

The major ceremony will take place at the Kevin Wheelahan Gardens on Devonshire Road, Sunshine from 8am.

Five-year old Amelia Fisher (pictured) spent the day at Ronia Makeup House in Keilor East and is excited for Sunday, which will be a real community celebration.

A free community barbecue, musical performers and the announcement of Brimbank’s citizen and young citizen of the year will also be held at the gardens.Further information contact 9249 4000.
