Caroline Springs lotto winner

A Caroline Springs man has taken home a whopping $546,068 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The man checked his ticket while watching the football on Saturday night, June 14, and said he “nearly fell off the chair” when he learnt of his win.

“I called out to my wife who was in bed and I said, ‘honey, I think our lives just changed,’” he said to an official from The Lott.

“I was a bit emotional when I went in and she thought something bad had happened. It was quite the opposite!”

Despite the win, the man still turned up for work on Monday.

“Look, I’m in shock today, that’s for sure,” he said.

“I haven’t had any sleep but I’m at work today.”

The lucky winner held one of the 12 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4581.
