Students, families, and staff at St Albans Heights Primary School were treated to a spectacular day of colour and celebration on Friday, May 30, as the school held Monty’s colour fun run.

The vibrant event saw students racing through a lively obstacle course while being showered with clouds of coloured powder.

Laughter and cheering filled the school grounds as participants embraced the fun-filled atmosphere.

The event aimed not only to celebrate school spirit but also to raise funds for a meaningful cause — and it did just that.

The colour fun run raised an impressive $3842, which will go toward new outdoor seating around the school’s recently completed new classroom build.

The seating will provide students with welcoming spaces to relax during breakfast club and break times.

Assistant principal Glenn Groves was thrilled with the enthusiasm of the school community.

“The success of the colour fun run highlights the strong sense of community at St Albans Heights Primary School and proves that a splash of colour can go a long way,” he said.
