IN FOCUS: It’s all about the wide world of sport

The bold move to open a modern and vibrant International Sports Bar in the Taylors Lakes Hotel has proved to be a very successful punt, and Marketing Manager Terry Gunn says it is attracting many new customers from all around the Brimbank area and beyond.

“We are so pleased with the result of this family-friendly bar,” Terry says.

“It is possibly the largest International Sports Bar inclusive of a retail TAB in the north west area. It has about 60 TV screens – including four huge screens – to show all the current sports from Australia and all over the world.

“This is ideal for watching AFL, the UFC, tennis, basketball, soccer and of course, it will be extremely popular for the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival during October and November.”

The International Sports Bar is meeting the demands of its many different sporting customers and has the latest and biggest technology, including provision of recharging your mobile phones via USB ports in the many comfortable booths.

There is also some great news for foodies, with a delicious upmarket menu with daily specials and a great selection of drinks on tap.

“The hotel also has the delicious Carlton Draught Brewery Fresh product, as seen on the Channel 7 television show

The Front Bar, which is preservative free and is not pasteurised, for your enjoyment,” Terry says.

“Some locals have even said that it is a healthy beer, so who am I to question their judgement?”

Apart from all the huge TVs and great food and beverages, there is a modern TAB outlet which includes seven Electronic Betting Terminals (EBT’s) to cater for the new “self-serve” generation of modern punters who like access to the world instantly via buttons.

“If for some reason you have not been in to see the International Sports Bar yet, we encourage all you sporting fans to come in and enjoy the experience and atmosphere of one of the best International Sports Bars in Melbourne – you won’t be disappointed.”
