Our Medical offers exceptional healthcare for all

Our Medical Caroline Springs has opened on Caroline Springs Boulevard with the promise of delivering exceptional healthcare for all.

The first-class medical centre will be open until 10pm every day, providing greater access to primary healthcare for west Melbourne – particularly during afterhours and weekends.

No appointment is required to see a bulk-billing GP at the medical centre. Co-located pathology also offers bulk billed services, 7 days a week. The combination of bulk billing GPs, pathology, and treatment room, means the centre is fully equipped to handle a range of medical needs, every day of the week. Additional departments, including physio, radiology, allied health, and dental are expected to commence soon.

Our Medical Radiology will open on 10th October and will offer bulk billed x-ray & OPG, ultrasound* and CT scans 7 days a week.

Henry Bateman, Cornerstone Health’s CEO and Managing Director welcomed the opening of its thirteenth medical centre.

“The nationwide GP shortage is being felt by the local community of Caroline Springs with locals waiting up to two weeks to see a GP. Other medical centres in the area are pushed to capacity, with some unable to accept new patients,“ Mr Bateman said.

“At Our Medical our fundamental belief is that everyone deserves the right to quality healthcare when, where and how they need it, and so we have expanded into west Melbourne to meet the local community needs.

“In addition to bulk billing GPs, there is a need for better access to co-located services such as radiology, allied health, and pathology. Bulk billed pathology will be available every day and Our Medical Radiology will open soon.

“Our Medical Caroline Springs promises to deliver a first-class, health service to the area, with efficient, quality healthcare.”

Dr Darko Sulava will be relocating to Our Medical Caroline Springs and has practiced in west Melbourne for over 30 years.

“Inadequate access to bulk billing GPs is becoming more evident recently and so I look forward to offering the local community high-quality care, when they need it, in a contemporary centre where all services are located under one roof,“ Dr Sulava said.

This new medical centre is located at Unit 1, 173 Caroline Springs Boulevard. Parking is available at the medical centre.
