Two arrested after Sunbury drug raids

Two Brimbank men will face court following a number of drug raids at five Sunbury addresses on Wednesday.

A 27-year-old Cairnlea man has been charged with various drug related offences including trafficking methylamphetamine and heroin while out on bail, dealing with property suspected to be the proceeds of crime and possessing a controlled weapon.

He will face the Sunshine Magistrate’s Court on March 9.

A 31-year-old Sunshine man was also charged with drug related offences while out on bail and will face Broadmeadows Magistrate’s Court on May 5.

Two other men and three women were also arrested and charged following the investigation by Fawkner Division Response Unit.
