Funding opens for local community projects

Not-for-profit groups operating in Caroline Springs, Burnside and Burnside Heights are invited to apply for a financial grant to support their local community project.

Submissions are open for the Modeina Community Fund and will close at 5pm on Monday, September 11, 2023.

Director Grant Dennis said the fund recognises the important role not-for-profit groups play in

connecting people and fostering community spirit.

“The Modeina Community Fund has assisted a broad cross-section of the Caroline Springs,

Burnside and Burnside Heights communities to help make many programs and projects possible,” he said.

To be considered for a grant, not-for-profit community groups must operate within the Caroline

Springs, Burnside and Burnside Heights area and meet the eligibility criteria detailed on the

application form.

An independent judging panel will assess applications and successful recipients will be notified

in September.
