Overnight factory fire deemed suspicious

Fire Rescue Victoria cut through a roller dollar to attend to a suspicious factory fire on Annastasia Way in Sunshine North on April 5.

Fire services were called to the blaze about 3.58am.

The fire was contained to the roof area of the factory, with fire fighters removing the plaster roof to get to the seat of the blaze.

After nearly an hour the fire was declared under control at 4.56am.

It took 30 firefighters to put out the factory fire which is understood to have started with the garage door on fire before spreading.
