Chicken carcasses caused havoc on the Boundary Road in Sunshine West on Thursday morning.
Police and Vic Roads attended the scene at Boundary Road just off the Western Ring Road after reports a truck lost its load of chicken carcasses about 11.30am.
Multiple lanes on the exit ramp from the Ring Road Altona-bound were closed.
The driver was uninjured and remained at the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
