Deer Park remains one of two undefeated teams in Bowls Victoria pennant weekend premier division competition.
After a strong first couple of rounds, Deer Park had a bit more of a challenge against MCC on Saturday evening.
The two teams shared the rinks, but Deer Park was able to come away with the win 84 (14)-67 (4).
Nathan Bush’s rink had a massive 28-12 win against Scott Mortimer, while Mark Casey’s rink won 26-17.
Both those rinks are undefeated this season
Aaron Teys rink suffered its first loss of the season, losing to Jay Bye-Norris, 19-14, while Ryan Tainton’s rink lost 19-16.
The win moves Deer Park to 48 points, just one point behind ladder leaders Bundoora RSL.
The Parkers this week face Clayton, which currently sits fifth.
In division 2, section 2 Keilor had a massive win against Sunbury 2.
Keilor claimed all the points in the 108 (18)-50 (0) win.
The rink of the day was Mark Neicho’s which won 40-6.
