Sunshine Eagles opened their account in the Baseball Victoria summer league men’s division 1 season.
After a tough first up loss, the Eagles bounced back on Sunday against Cheltenham Rustlers at Cheltenham.
The Eagles were in trouble early on, down 5-2, before 10 hits in row helped produce nine runs.
The Eagles would eventually win, 13-5.
The Eagles women’s side also opened its account on Saturday in division 3 west.
After being washed out in round one, the Eagles took to the pitch against Newport. It was a one sided affair, with the Eagles winning 22-3.
