Suspicious fires

Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit is investigating two grass fires which occurred along Kororoit Creek between Neale Road and Station Road, Deer Park about 5am on Friday, March 29. If you saw anything suspicious in the area, or have CCTV/dash cam footage, contact Senior Constable Harvey at Brimbank CIU on 9313 3444 or submit a report via Crime Stoppers.

 

Plane tragedy

Mystery surrounds the death of a Sunshine West woman on a Qantas flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne on March 31. Two doctors on board the flight tried to save Aleisha Tracy, 33, before the plane could land. Paramedics were also on hand when the plane landed at Tullamarine about 9am but Ms Tracy could not be saved. The cause of death is unknown.

 

Shots fired

Police are appealing for assistance after a Sunshine North home was peppered with bullets on Thursday night. The incident occurred on Rice Flower Road when a car pulled up in the street and a man discharged a number of shots towards a house just before 8.30pm. No one was injured in the incident. Investigators are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
