Young school leaders learn to save a life

Young leaders from a Delahey school have learnt a very important lesson: how to save a life.

All students at Mackellar Primary School, including grade six pupils Anastasia, Jessica, Julian and Eric (pictured) received free first aid training last Wednesday from St John Ambulance, with grade five and six students also learning CPR.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our students,” wellbeing specialist Tanya O’Brien said. “Many lives have been saved through these sessions with children.”
