Acrofun’s little gymnasts are kicking goals all over Australia by placing first, second and third in this year’s National Women’s Artistic Gymnastics competitions.
On October 21 and November 4, the Bacchus Marsh club’s national level two team and national level four team, competed in Hamilton and Mt Gambier.
The two teams placed first overall at the Hamilton competition and in Mt Gambier the level two team placed first and the level four team placed second.
Acrofun president Bree Mort said: “As a club we are excited about the recent successes at the national competitions as our club and our gymnasts have worked hard to be recognised at this level of sport.”
Ms Mort said as a rural club they faced many challenges.
“The fact that we can rise above this and still come home with places is an awesome achievement and a true testament to our gymnasts and our coaching staff,” she said.
