Sun downer
A motorcyclist caught riding at nearly 50km/h over the speed limit in Yarraville on Saturday told police he was in a hurry to catch the sunset in Williamstown with his female pillion passenger. The Docklands man, 30, was clocked at 107km/h in a 60km/h zone in Hyde Street about 5.30pm. The pair didn’t ride off into the sunset together after the man’s bike was impounded for 30 days.
