Delivery man hurt

A doughnut delivery driver was injured in an attempted vehicle theft in Altona North early on Monday morning. Police say three men arrived at the United service station in Pinnacle Road about 4.20am. While the 62-year-old doughnut man was inside the store, one of the trio tried to drive off in his van. The victim ran outside and grabbed the keys. He was punched in the face before the would-be thieves fled. The van rolled over the victim’s foot. He was taken to hospital with a leg injury. Crime Stoppers: 1800333000.
