People of the West is the outcome of a VU documentary photographic project offering a glimpse of some of the faces and stories of Melbourne’s western suburbs. At VU at MetroWest until October 6.
Barefoot bowls
Come and try outdoor bowls at the Williamstown Bowling Club, 40-58 Melbourne Road, on September 24 from 11am-2pm. Bowls and coaching will be provided and there will be a barbecue for lunch. All ages and abilities welcome. Bring flat shoes or runners, or bowl in bare feet. Free and no bookings required.

Holiday sports
VU Sport will run a school holiday sports program for kids aged 5-12 years, including a multisports and an AFL day at Footscray Park campus from 9am-3.30pm, September 25-28, and two-day netball clinic at VU Community Sports Stadium, Whitten Oval from 9am-3.30pm on September 27-28.
