West trade training funds to flow

SCHOOLS in the west can apply for a share in the federal government’s Trade Training Centres project. 

The $400 million initiative will be split into two phases of $200 million. Maribyrnong Labor MP Bill Shorten said the centres played an important role in creating a link between schools, students, industry and businesses. 

Applications open November 30, 2012.
