The Very Hungry Caterpillar was out and about in Sunshine last week to promote the Brimbank Writers Festival. Sunshine Smith Family representative Jeanine Carter (pictured with Lucas, 3) is encouraging book lovers to pick up their favourite novel and join in at the Sunshine Marketplace forecourt in Hampshire Road from noon-1pm next Wednesday. The area will be transformed into a lounge room, complete with lampstand and couch. Children’s author and poet Claire Saxby will be there for a reading.
