Lyndhurst: Two injured in multi-vehicle crash

TWO people were injured in a multi-vehicle smash on the Western Port Highway in Lyndhurst this morning.

The accident happened just after 5am, near the intersection with Bayliss Road, and involved a truck and at least two other vehicles.

Ambulance Victoria said one person was taken to The Alfred hospital in a stable condition. 

A woman was taken to Monash Medical Centre with minor injuries.

Traffic was diverted down Thompson Road while the accident site was cleared.
