A $2.5 MILLION senior learning centre was opened at StLawrence Primary School in Derrimut on Friday.
Principal Julie Corsaletti said the federal government contributed $1 million to the centre, which includes a visual arts space and independent learning areas for the school’s 80-plus pupils in grades 3-6.
“The senior students are thrilled because it gives them independence from the rest of the school and the opportunity to take part in different types of learning,” she said.
