Man stabbed answering front door of Kings Park house

POLICE are appealing for information on a vicious assault and aggravated robbery in Kings Park last month.

The incident happened at a house in Kingdom Avenue at about 8.30am on July 28.

Detectives from the Armed Crime Taskforce said two men jumped a side fence and attempted to gain entry to the rear of the house, before going to the front door.

Police said the men then knocked on the front door which was opened by a 26-year-old man from Bentleigh East.

One of the attackers, who was armed with a knife, then stabbed the victim several times.

Police said three other people were in the house at the time, including a two-year-old child.

The men are believed to have fled in a dark-coloured sedan.

Information to Crime Stoppers 1800333000.
