London 2012: Sydenham wrestler Farzad Tarash eliminated in four minutes

THE blink-and-you’ll-miss Olympics campaign of Sydenham wrestler Farzad Tarash was over in just four minutes today.

Australia’s only wrestling competitor was comprehensively beaten 3-0 5-0 by North Korea’s world No. 25 Jong Myong Ri in the 60kg freestyle at ExCel in London.

Tarash told reporters after the bout that it was a ”dream come true” to represent Australia at the London Games and the experience at the top level will be invaluable for the remainder of his career.
