SUNSHINE badminton star Renuga Veeran and partner Leanne Choo battled hard but have finished their Olympics campaign.
The Australians were toppled by Indonesia’s Meiliana Jauhari and Greysia Polii 21-11 20-22 21-13 in the first game and beat the South Africans 21-9 21-7 in another.
Glenn Warfe and Ross Smith faced three of the best badminton nations in their group – China, Taiwan and Germany – and lost all three games.
