ESSENDON District Football league has wasted no time in announcing fixtures for the rest of the 2012 division 1 and 2 seasons.
While the league does not officially split until after round 13 on July 14, last weekend’s round 11 results consigned six teams to relegation with two rounds still to play.
East Keilor, Hillside, Roxburgh Park, Moonee Valley, Keilor Park and Jacana are the six clubs that will form division 2 after round 13.
The top eight teams in division 1 will play an 18 round season, with the top four competing in finals. The division 2 season will go 17 rounds and also has a top four finals.
Promotion and relegation between division 1 and 2 will not start until 2013.
